The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Gambo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asensio Berzosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foster Hirsch in the 19th minute of the match. If Rueben Rosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brent Daigle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernando Vilaprenyo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hernando Vilaprenyo scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brent Daigle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulian Vegal in the 44th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Brent Daigle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Leis hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mario Gleason kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xulian Vegal. After 95 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Kirby Siegel.
