Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) American Airlines's Leonardo Ogden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Demesio Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colby Sherwood in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Biñuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to American Airlines getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zack McIntosh hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in American Airlines's zone, Gabriel Biñuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vern McAllister came out of the goal and Gabriel Biñuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Obana in the 18th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Vern McAllister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Bañuelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Ogden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Shields. Gabriel Biñuela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vern McAllister. American Airlines's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Shields during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anthony Shields hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cordarrol Chamochin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Vern McAllister made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Biñuela to maneuver through the defense. Colby Sherwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demesio Verdeja having to interfere. Emanuel Bañuelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vern McAllister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Tabernilla got free with Vern McAllister in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes in the game, Cordarrol Chamochin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Vern McAllister made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Amadeo Tabernilla sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Bañuelos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Vern McAllister skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 43 minutes into the game, Cordarrol Chamochin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vern McAllister. Cordarrol Chamochin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cordarrol Chamochin put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vern McAllister. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vern McAllister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Obana in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Leonardo Ogden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Biñuela in the 60th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Vern McAllister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Cordarrol Chamochin made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. American Airlines's Vern McAllister tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Leonardo Ogden managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Airlines's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Ogden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demesio Verdeja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Cordarrol Chamochin put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vern McAllister. American Airlines's Vern McAllister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Obana in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Gates. Stanton Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Nacional's Gabriel Biñuela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vern McAllister came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nacional reached it. After 91 minutes, Claudio Gates mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Airlines and the Nacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Tabernilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tartalo Oquerruri to maneuver through the defense. Nacional's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
