FC Smolenice's Jonas Ekelund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Gladiators Milošová. When Edgard Ceresso fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gladiators Milošová's protests and gave Edgard Ceresso a yellow card for diving instead. Aykan İsmet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Ermano went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinny Tusk in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Smolenice's goalkeeper Dávid Lapár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iván Sotomayor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Aykan İsmet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iván Sotomayor got free with Aykan İsmet in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Csongor Tímár hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dávid Lapár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vojtech Abrahamfy, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to FC Smolenice getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonas Ekelund hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iván Sotomayor in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aykan İsmet saved FC Gladiators Milošová from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Bernard Kišš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well O'Connell in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dávid Lapár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibrahim Hanif in the 86th minute of the match. FC Gladiators Milošová's Juraj Šesták was substituted for Vojtech Abrahamfy. FC Smolenice made a substitution. Michal Pachl replaced Iván Sotomayor. A collision led to FC Smolenice getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Yoncho Spaskov hit a great ball. Juraj Pavliš's late challenge caught a FC Smolenice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juraj Pavliš helped the player get up and apologised. Juraj Pavliš kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Aykan İsmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Ermano in the 97th minute of play. FC Smolenice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
