Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United FC's goalkeeper Jack Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pan De Wen fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s protests and gave Pan De Wen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Pan De Wen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Newcastle United FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s performance. The match ended with a win for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙.
