In the 5th minute Jorge Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AC LeX Luthor's Rodion Nikitin in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Ciuvică who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Porfiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aristide Ciuvică did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Gabriel Porfiro 24 minutes into the match. Joe Kimutai kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Peng Bin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Savion in the 34th minute of play. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodion Nikitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Gabriel Porfiro threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Savion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 37 in the game by Zeledon Savion from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Porfiro managed to make a qualified save. Luganeros AFC's players were relieved. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Peng Bin in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Timoteo Procopio got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Argoitz came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Chen Peng Bin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rey Ronaldo was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Porfiro should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodion Nikitin in the 72nd minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 73rd minute of play. Rodion Nikitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC LeX Luthor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Luganeros AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
