Maximino Cabezon scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustin Belmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hu Xi made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Sándor Cleghorn. In the 12th minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Gualterio Richie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinei Velloso. Claudinei Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Gualterio Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Gualterio Richie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Claudinei Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Claudinei Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Humberto Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Abascal. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Humberto Abascal with Eduardo Orlanda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Cabezon was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Agustin Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Romeo Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Gualterio Richie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Velloso. ACF Fiorentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Richie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Claudinei Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Godofredo Suarez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustin Belmiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Agustin Belmiro got control of the ball when Federico Teofilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Prudencio Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prudencio Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Velloso having to interfere. Prudencio Ralondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinei Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prudencio Ralondo ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Ralondo came free, but Claudinei Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
