Roberto Layton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. AC LeX Luthor were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermenegildo Ventura took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Silvestre Semeno heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bogumil Gierasik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Eyague made a huge save. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Amurăriței in the 17th minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Amurăriței, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Augustin Amurăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peep Pronk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roberto Layton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Amurăriței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Petersen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Amurăriței in the 53rd minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Aristide Ciuvică almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton did a great save. In the 77th minute Peter Swan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamar Eldridge in the 78th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
