Konstanty Galagan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincenty Puchlik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 崔光笑 came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wincenty Puchlik could save by the left post. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Warka in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstanty Galagan in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincenty Puchlik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstanty Galagan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincenty Puchlik saved Soczewki Gliwice from getting behind. With a little luck, Soczewki Gliwice's Wincenty Puchlik got control of the ball when Michael Owen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Kociniewski in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Erdoğan Elfaz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Robert Boruta could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Wincenty Puchlik however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th minute Ignacy Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when Soczewki Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Ciszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soczewki Gliwice's Wincenty Puchlik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Ignacy Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Soczewki Gliwice were awarded a corner. Lucjan Tscherner went to the cornerflag to take it. When Soczewki Gliwice's Edward Buczko in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Montserrat's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute of the match Soczewki Gliwice got a corner. Atlético Montserrat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Tscherner ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lucjan Tscherner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke did a great save. 47 minutes into the match, 崔光笑 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wincenty Puchlik, 2-0. Atlético Montserrat's Zula Jajesniak was substituted for 崔光笑. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacy Kociniewski to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Owen in the 54th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Wincenty Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Skröder might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincenty Puchlik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Skröder ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Kociniewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Galagan came free, but Wincenty Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Luke made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ignacy Kociniewski sent off a good shot on target. Soczewki Gliwice's Feliks Nieruchliwy was substituted for Lucjan Tscherner. Soczewki Gliwice made a substitution. Szymon Szkaradek replaced Lech Warka. After 71 minutes Atlético Montserrat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erdoğan Elfaz who took care of the corner kick. Soczewki Gliwice were furious when Cyprian Bykowski was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cyprian Bykowski hit a great ball. Segundo Belarmo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Belarmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Segundo Belarmo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Edward Buczko.
