Saffet Müjdat started the match with the kick off. The wind increased when Ali Nabi Bozbey made the kick off in the second half. Sabahattin Onurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeki İncel in the 53rd minute of play. A hard shot 58 in the game by Saffet Müjdat from a close distance when the talented İlhami Sungurbay managed to make a qualified save. İSTANBULLS FC's players were relieved. 60 minutes into the match, Mehmet Fatih Arıkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İlhami Sungurbay. İSTANBULLS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Fatih Arıkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Saffet Müjdat might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlhami Sungurbay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saffet Müjdat ran back to his position shaking his head. Neşat Kiner kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Saffet Müjdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see İSTANBULLS FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
