In the 18th match minute, GECEKONDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ozan Tuğcu to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, GECEKONDU's goalkeeper Baycan Kerim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Necdet Baştugay. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when GECEKONDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nusrettin Gökalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Baycan Kerim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKHisaR. Peker Baycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half GECEKONDU were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Necdet Baştugay made the kick off in the second half. Peker Baycan was a little too slow when Sarp Nizam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 50th minute. The score was now 0-3. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baycan Kerim having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Ergün Özver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKHisaR and the GECEKONDU players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Lodbrok got free with Peker Baycan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akşemseddin Hazret in the 62nd minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Peker Baycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arslan Çubukcu fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKHisaR's protests and gave Arslan Çubukcu a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes AKHisaR got a freekick which was hit by Arslan Çubukcu. Yaser Osmanlıoğlu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AKHisaR's Peker Baycan got control of the ball when Akşemseddin Hazret tried to sneak it across the goal line. AKHisaR's Peker Baycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akşemseddin Hazret in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKHisaR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Akşemseddin Hazret was slow to take the kick. During this time GECEKONDU's players had a chance to rest. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AKHisaR! Peker Baycan had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Akşemseddin Hazret's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ragnar Lodbrok who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Peker Baycan when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
