Selçuk Tekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Icardi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 13 minutes of play, Erzincan FK's Ariel Ortega made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selçuk Tekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC GG's Selçuk Tekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC GG from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC GG's Bünyamin Bahadır got a free kick in the 17th minute. Mauro Icardi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Selçuk Tekin 21 minutes into the match. Selçuk Tekin was a little too slow when Mauro Icardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 5-0. FC GG's Selçuk Tekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC GG from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's Ariel Ortega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selçuk Tekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC GG were furious when Mehdi Yöner was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of FC GG:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Erzincan FK:s goal. In the 40th minute, Bünyamin Bahadır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Ortega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Selçuk Tekin made a huge save. Bünyamin Bahadır hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Ariel Ortega made the kick off in the second half. The FC GG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selçuk Tekin should have stopped the shot. The Erzincan FK fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Erzincan FK's Mauro Icardi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 69 minutes into the match, FC GG's goal looked a bit too open when Alptuğ Gözlem came free, but Selçuk Tekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Icardi in the 76th minute of play forced FC GG's goalkeeper Selçuk Tekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erzincan FK's Kunter Haspolatlı managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bünyamin Bahadır in the 80 minute of the game. Kılıçhan Akgül tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Selçuk Tekin. An unnecessary self made goal, 11-0 in the 83rd minute. Alptuğ Gözlem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Selçuk Tekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ariel Ortega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzincan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Ariel Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Erzincan FK were the better team. Erzincan FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
