In the 14th minute Alberto Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after ITAFUT 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wellington Fonseca took the corner. If Lei Feng Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Alberto Portugal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esen Sanal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ITAFUT 4EVER:s goal. Wellington Fonseca made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ITAFUT 4EVER's Marcos Fantini. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Fantini in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Pochekanski to make the kick off. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Portugal in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esen Sanal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60thth minute of the game Alberto Portugal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho de Senna to maneuver through the defense. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio was substituted for Alberto Portugal. In the 64th minute, Ricardinho de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Jardel Baggio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Pochekanski in the 73rd minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Dalmo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caxias do Sul booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Baggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Pochekanski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dalmo Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
