Damazy Joks might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spase Kastrati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damazy Joks ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 7th minute of play forced Macedonia's goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Joks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spase Kastrati having to make a save. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 11th minute of play. Spase Kastrati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match, Deljan Nastevski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Boruc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lech Pisarcik might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spase Kastrati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lech Pisarcik ran back to his position shaking his head. Spase Kastrati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 24th minute of the match. Spase Kastrati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Joks's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Damazy Joks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Spase Kastrati. Macedonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damazy Joks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 36th minute Deljan Nastevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Pier Kopacz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Stevan Rajkovski fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macedonia's protests and gave Stevan Rajkovski a yellow card for diving instead. Poland's Roch Dejo was substituted for Pier Kopacz. After a rather tough play, Macedonia's Stevan Rajkovski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Joks in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spase Kastrati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 minutes of play, Poland's Lech Pisarcik made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Spase Kastrati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diljan Dzaferi was the one to do the kick off. Diljan Dzaferi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Boruc. Artur Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deljan Nastevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deljan Nastevski in the 57th minute of play. Damazy Joks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damazy Joks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spase Kastrati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Macedonia's Vuk Urgovski was substituted for Ramadan Hristov. Poland's Marek Czech was substituted for Damazy Joks. Poland's Gilbert Cipinski was substituted for Harry Maguire. Marek Czech blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spase Kastrati having to make a save. Macedonia's Spase Kastrati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Macedonia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Czech in the 73rd minute of play forced Macedonia's goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vuk Urgovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Poland's Marek Czech in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macedonia's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Poland's Lech Pisarcik to fire away a dangerous shot which Spase Kastrati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macedonia's goalkeeper Spase Kastrati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Marek Czech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macedonia's Spase Kastrati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marek Czech succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 90th playminute. Spase Kastrati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marek Czech went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The Macedonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poland's performance. The match ended with a win for Poland.
