A collision led to Georgia getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Emiriev Pawletko hit a great ball. In the 97th minute Toma Cabeza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taka Levidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Georgia lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
