Albardón F.C's Geronimo Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Kaider in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Aureliano Buendia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albardón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute, Aureliano Buendia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Buendia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Gaxan was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ireland 1921's zone, Aureliano Buendia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Gaxan came out of the goal and Aureliano Buendia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albardón F.C's attentive Gustavo Barros Schelotto managed to snatch the ball when Patricio Roderigo made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Buendia came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boguslaw Kaider struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Geronimo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ireland 1921. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xandro Sacristán to make the kick off. Vinicio Etxahun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Albardón F.C booed when Ireland 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Ireland 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Buendia came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Bilbo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Eleazar saved Albardón F.C from getting behind. Geronimo Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Buendia got free with Generoso Gaxan in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Buendia might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Buendia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Aureliano Buendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The excitement rose when Albardón F.C's Aureliano Buendia after 87 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Ireland 1921's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. After having played for 96 minutes, Aureliano Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albardón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Buendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Albardón F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
