Robert Matthews charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Matthews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Robert Matthews. 27 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 28th minute of play. Ter Stegen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luan Pombo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute of the match Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincent Jaroch ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute, Turgut Soyuer made a precise shot to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 45 minutes of play, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stegen was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torrey Molloy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Pombo in the 52nd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 58th minute of play. Ter Stegen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Long Xiang Yuan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Robert Matthews. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. David Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Matthews in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Luan Pombo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigan Frankson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but David Abad made a huge save. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 81st minute of play. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Pombo in the 83rd minute of the match. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torrey Molloy in the 84th minute of play. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Aban McBjarton sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the 1948 MKS defense, Danell Mackiathan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ter Stegen. The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp got a free kick in the 95th minute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
