With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lei Jian Xiong in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Selatse saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes in the game József Varga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mon Key. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Jian Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toro Martínez in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Toro Martínez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnold Szuper. The goal made the score 2-0. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Lei Jian Xiong made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Selatse. Despidida AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toro Martínez in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Szuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by József Varga. After 46 minutes, Toro Martínez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despidida AFC and the Szombathely Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Toro Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. Luciano Aued replaced József Varga. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Martínez to make the kick off. Luciano Aued got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tivadar Demeter. 58 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce was substituted for Arturo Arano. In the 62nd minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lei Jian Xiong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Emiliano Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Szuper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Arnold Szuper came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Kopacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Szentesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Mon Key shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Lei Jian Xiong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 89th minute of play. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Szombathely Squirrels's Tamás Szentesi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Selatse. Fernando Selatse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Emiliano Velasco scored 6-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnold Szuper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
