In the 2nd match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Potvin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Stelian Hortopan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Hortopan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnys Lärjungar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Hortopan in the 11th minute. Ronnys Lärjungar's Bennvar Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Baller in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Hortopan came free, but Åke Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Stelian Hortopan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Magnusson. Finninge Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Hortopan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Hortopan came free, but Åke Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Andrew Baller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finninge Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Jonathan Strand came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Finninge Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Strand couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Finninge Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Kempf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Finninge Fotboll's zone, Stelian Hortopan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Magnusson came out of the goal and Stelian Hortopan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes, Stelian Hortopan made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Hortopan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Stelian Hortopan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Åke Magnusson. Stelian Hortopan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Stelian Hortopan in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Åke Magnusson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute, Roy Keane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronnys Lärjungar's Murat Dogan was substituted for Christoforos Manousopoulos. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Roy Keane got a free kick in the 60th minute. Åke Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Dogan in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Stelian Hortopan put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Åke Magnusson. If Jimmie Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Åke Magnusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stelian Hortopan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Andrew Baller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bennvar Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Stelian Hortopan put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Åke Magnusson. Åke Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hortopan in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes Finninge Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Hortopan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Stelian Hortopan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson did a great save. In the 91st minute Ronnys Lärjungar were awarded a corner. Stelian Hortopan went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronnys Lärjungar's Stelian Hortopan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Åke Magnusson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rdth minute of the game Stelian Hortopan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
