Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Cisek came free, but Salvador Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ole-Gunnar Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvador Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Scigan in the 7th minute of play. KS Górce Bemowo were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Merced AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernt Stenberg took the corner. The corner led KS Górce Bemowo's Bernt Stenberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Salvador Lazcano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ole-Gunnar Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Lorenzo Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ole-Gunnar Klose came free, but Salvador Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Morgan Nordmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ole-Gunnar Klose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Salvador Lazcano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Ragnar Wingaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when KS Górce Bemowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragnar Wingaard struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Salvador Lazcano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Górce Bemowo. Ole-Gunnar Klose might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Lazcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ole-Gunnar Klose ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Merced AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Estebe. Bernt Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salvador Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, KS Górce Bemowo's Tadeusz Chmelyk got control of the ball when José Carlos Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Dario Estebe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 52 played minutes Merced AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Estebe. KS Górce Bemowo's Bernt Stenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Ole-Gunnar Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Górce Bemowo made a substitution. Ðuza Glowacz replaced Ole-Gunnar Klose. In the 64th minute of the match, Ragnar Wingaard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salvador Lazcano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eugeniusz Rode hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, José Carlos Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merced AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Górce Bemowo the free kick. Morgan Nordmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ðuza Glowacz in the 78th minute of play forced Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Górce Bemowo's Morgan Nordmark managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Perpinya in the 83 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Filip Scigan managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Górce Bemowo's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Scigan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KS Górce Bemowo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
