Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Yin Wei Yi sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute, Pablo Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Yin Wei Yi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hílton Magalhães. The goal made the score 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Montes came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Hílton Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yin Wei Yi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute, Yin Wei Yi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yin Wei Yi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Magalhães having to make a save. Hílton Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 21st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Botinho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ:s goal. Yin Wei Yi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Hílton Magalhães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Igor Montes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wilian Breckenfeld, made in the 34th minute of the game. After 35 minutes, Christiano Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botinho FC and the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Botinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Rezende. Pablo Innocenzio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hílton Magalhães. Botinho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pablo Innocenzio in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yin Wei Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Hílton Magalhães made a huge save. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorival Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Albino Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Diniz's late challenge caught a C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Diniz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Yin Wei Yi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hílton Magalhães. Botinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yin Wei Yi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Botinho FC booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Innocenzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Rodrigo Barra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Rezende hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hílton Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Anselmo Valiente replaced Cecilio Eli. The throw-in from Wilian Breckenfeld in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Fernando Seber. If Teodosio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 76th minute of play. If Teodosio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hílton Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Montes's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Montes in the 85th minute of play. Teodosio Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hílton Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 89th minute of play. Teodosio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner. Igor Montes went to the cornerflag to take it. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Teodosio Montes took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hílton Magalhães. Hílton Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
