In the 2nd match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Xavier to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Svali Bollason took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivo de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the game, Svali Bollason recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivo de Moraes. Svali Bollason showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 14th minute, Gerardo Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reco-Reco Uberlândia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 17th minute, Reco-Reco Uberlândia's Svali Bollason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Reco-Reco Uberlândia's Mai got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gerardo Arce's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Arce helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Ivo de Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Reco-Reco Uberlândia's Cipriano de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svali Bollason took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráuzio Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cipriano de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Ivo de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 minutes of play, Reco-Reco Uberlândia's Virgílio Trigo made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Cipriano de Toledo notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Reco-Reco Uberlândia fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Reco-Reco Uberlândia's Svali Bollason looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, Dedé Gaspar notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Pesqueira City's Ivo de Moraes. Ivo de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Arce came free, but Ivo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Svali Bollason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo de Moraes. Pesqueira City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svali Bollason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. Ivo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svali Bollason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Arce scored 20-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Pesqueira City defense, Gerardo Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo de Moraes. The Pesqueira City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo de Moraes should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Reco-Reco Uberlândia had played much better football throughout.
