Spectators: 6852 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) The Woolwich United fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Woolwich United's Saul Mondragon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Meols FC's Ulises Alas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Henry Sandoval in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Max Lovo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Henry Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meols FC's Alfredo Galdamez got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Woolwich United's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Moreno came free, but Victor Ventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Lovo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Sandoval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Meols FC's Lorenzo Alvarado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Sandoval in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Lovo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saul Mondragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Max Lovo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Galdamez struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Victor Ventura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meols FC. In the 46th minute Mariano Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Sandoval stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Mariano Moreno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Woolwich United's Victor Ventura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Woolwich United from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Meols FC's zone, Henry Sandoval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Lovo came out of the goal and Henry Sandoval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saul Mondragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Woolwich United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Mondragon to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meols FC's Mariano Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alfredo Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meols FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ventura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Mariano Moreno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
