Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Venancio Ebardo kicked off to start the match. Haroldo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Ebardo in the 13th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play vichrerd's Andres Gaztea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Jaramillo booed when vichrerd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Venancio Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Ebardo in the 24th minute of play. If Venancio Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Jaramillo's Joaquin Mon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 minutes, Venancio Ebardo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. vichrerd's Haroldo Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Joaquin Mon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaramillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Mon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Venancio Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vichrerd's Haroldo Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haroldo Cruz made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Joaquin Mon sent off a good shot on target. vichrerd's Emiliano Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Haitz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ernesto Isusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for vichrerd. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emiliano Haitz made the kick off in the second half. Jaramillo's Ernesto Isusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jaramillo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Emiliano Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. vichrerd's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Isusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
