Hugo Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rubio having to interfere. Guillermo Berdaitz's late challenge caught a Simoca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Berdaitz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Sevigné FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Simoca FC:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Simoca FC. Ivan Josefík stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pastor Rubio. 2-0. Pastor Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Rubio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Vellito made a kick off. Roman Calvet made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ambrosio Gentza sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Simoca FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ildefonso Ongile hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Hernando in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Hernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Hernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Pastor Rubio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Hernando's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Hernando in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Calvet having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Hugo Hernando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sevigné FC's Pastor Rubio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pastor Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Simoca FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
