Godfredo Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Marcones having to interfere. Gavino Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Ubelteso in the 8th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Godfredo Ubelteso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barreal's Gavino Marcones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Godfredo Ubelteso sped through Barreal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavino Marcones. If Godfredo Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Godfredo Ubelteso came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Stegmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Ubelteso couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal's goalkeeper Gavino Marcones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Socorro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Mauro Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stegmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Eleder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Ubelteso in the 31st minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Gavino Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Ubelteso in the 32nd minute of the match. Maximino Enetz charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Enetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Rene Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Stegmann fans jumped to their feet. Mauricio Remigio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal. A collision led to Barreal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Maximino Enetz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Eleder in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Marcones saved Barreal from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Godfredo Ubelteso made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Marcones. Barreal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Barreal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stegmann were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Christian Rutenio made the kick off in the second half. Gavino Marcones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Otsoko in the 54th minute. Christian Rutenio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mauricio Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Socorro in the 58th minute of play forced Stegmann's goalkeeper Mauricio Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Rutenio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Sebastian Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Eleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Eleder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Gavino Marcones when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Godfredo Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stegmann's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Ubelteso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Eleder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Gavino Marcones when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Celino came free, but Gavino Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal's zone, Mauro Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Marcones came out of the goal and Mauro Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barreal's Sebastian Socorro got a free kick in the 88th minute. Stegmann's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
