The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Domingo Cilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Vistruario was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Mario Vistruario made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Albino Lopez sent off a good shot on target. When Domingo Cilio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Nasaló FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Cilio couldn't finish the play. Donado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Min was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Ciro Kepa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nasaló FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donado FC the free kick. A collision led to Nasaló FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ciro Kepa hit a great ball. Bartolo Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Domingos Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Lopez in the 31st minute of play. Albino Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Vistruario having to make a save. Domingo Cilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mario Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Udalaitz in the 42nd minute of play forced Nasaló FC's goalkeeper Domingos Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Min might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Tauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Min ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Lopez made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Albino Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nasaló FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Vistruario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donado FC's Mario Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Cilio in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Albino Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nasaló FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
