After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Desiderio Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Rosio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Beturian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, one of Búhos Unison FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Delmar Gabirel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Frutos in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Incendio came free, but Delmar Gabirel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Búhos Unison FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Beturian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Neron. When Apolo Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Sauce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Basajaun couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sauce FC's Apolo Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bonifacio Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Pacifico hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Apolo Basajaun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bonifacio Beturian. The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Santos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Santos in the 53rd minute of play forced Sauce FC's goalkeeper Delmar Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Búhos Unison FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaudencio Pacifico in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gaudencio Pacifico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delmar Gabirel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bonifacio Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Rosio in the 64th minute of play. Sauce FC's Ovidio Ovando couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Búhos Unison FC. Desiderio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bonifacio Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Búhos Unison FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Osvaldo Abeitia hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's Desiderio Rosio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Beturian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Frutos kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
