The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Gora got free with Maximiliano Dolcet in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Benedicto Bertol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 minutes, Felipe Ereinotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orizaba Veracruz México and the Villada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Orizaba Veracruz México was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. Villada FC's Paulo Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Pirro in the 37th minute of play. Abelardo Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Dolcet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Oidor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Maximiliano Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Orizaba Veracruz México's Felipe Ereinotz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Paulo Nafarroa was a little too slow when Denis Pirro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Paulo Nafarroa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. In the 71st minute, Ulises Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Orizaba Veracruz México got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ereinotz. Maximiliano Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Oidor in the 76th minute of the match. Maximiliano Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Jaizki in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Gombal got free with Paulo Nafarroa in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Ambrosio Jaizki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villada FC and the Orizaba Veracruz México players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Villada FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Jaizki. Paulo Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Pirro in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villada FC defense, Denis Pirro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Nafarroa. The Villada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. Hugo Gombal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Nafarroa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hugo Gombal came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo Nafarroa could save by the left post. Orizaba Veracruz México's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
