Saul Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Ourente having to interfere. Bruno Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Shepherd in the 31st minute of the match. Bruno Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Ostendi AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rolando Lertxun hit a great ball. Saverio Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Ourente having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Saul Quirce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Ourente was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Quirce was the one to do the kick off. Simon Fanuco struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joel Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostendi AFC. 72 minutes into the match, Runciman AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Fanuco came free, but Joel Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Omar Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Shepherd took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Ourente. Bruno Ourente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 96 minutes of play Runciman AFC's Omar Cordarrell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th match minute, Runciman AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. The Runciman AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
