Tomas Elivareo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Enrique Eladio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Taquimilán's Victoriano Mano. Victoriano Mano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Taquimilán's Zeledon Sanson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Feliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Victoriano Mano came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Naranjo's Enrique Eladio. But to his dismay, Enrique Eladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leon Gervaso kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Victoriano Mano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Eladio went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Tomas Elivareo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naranjo's protests and gave Tomas Elivareo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Naranjo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Zeledon Sanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquimilán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 41 minutes into the match, Taquimilán's Zeledon Sanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Feliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Argi made a kick off. Enrique Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Mano having to interfere. Aurelio Feliz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leon Gervaso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 56 minute of play. After 58 minutes, Leon Gervaso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquimilán and the Naranjo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Aritza in the 59th minute of play. Victoriano Mano went to the wrong direction when Pedro Miliano was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Aurelio Feliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Naranjo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Miliano in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute, Moises Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Naranjo's Enrique Eladio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Sanson got free with Aurelio Feliz in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leandro Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Zeledon Sanson in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 96 minutes, Candido Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquimilán and the Naranjo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Taquimilán getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Candido Iruinea hit a great ball.
