Severino Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Gar in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Natalio Terciero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Platon. Aguacateros de Tepetongo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Terciero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Aguacateros de Tepetongo defense, Natalio Terciero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Platon. The Aguacateros de Tepetongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Platon should have stopped the shot. In the 25th match minute, Atletico Aztlan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Terciero made a kick off. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Aztlan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
