Severino Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Irrintzi in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Jeremias Tajo managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Atletico Aztlan's Natalio Terciero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rojas's Nicanor Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rojas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Atilano Bakar hit a great ball. Carmelo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tajo having to interfere. The wind increased when Natalio Terciero made the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Hitzeder in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Rojas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Peio to maneuver through the defense. Jose Bastian charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Bastian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rojas booed when Atletico Aztlan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Gipuzkoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Federigo having to make a save. Atletico Aztlan's Agustin Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rojas defense, Natalio Terciero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Tajo. The Rojas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Tajo should have stopped the shot. Agustin Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Federigo having to interfere. In the 79th minute Agustin Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Atletico Aztlan got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ilixo. Jose Bastian kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Rojas's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Bastian came free, but Jeremias Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
