The supporters of Rojas booed when Naranjo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Feliz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Naranjo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Enrique Eladio made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Leon Tano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naranjo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 53 played minutes Rojas got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Peio. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Leon Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjo's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rojas's Jeremias Tajo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Rojas from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Tomas Elivareo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Tajo. Tomas Elivareo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Nicanor Ramone took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Feliz. Aurelio Feliz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 71st minute, Enrique Eladio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremias Tajo. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 76th minute, Enrique Eladio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Tajo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A collision led to Rojas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carmelo Tomi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Tano in the 84th minute of play forced Rojas's goalkeeper Jeremias Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Tajo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Naranjo's Enrique Eladio. But to his dismay, Enrique Eladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The supporters of Rojas booed when Naranjo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rojas's Jeremias Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Tano in the 90th minute of play. Enrique Eladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jeremias Tajo made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Rojas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tajo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Carmelo Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naranjo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
