The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Teofilio got free with Jeremias Tajo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Nicanor Ramone notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Taquimilán's Victoriano Mano. Victoriano Mano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Taquimilán booed when Rojas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Sansons short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jeremias Tajo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeledon Sanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Leandro Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rojas's Jeremias Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Argi in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rojas's Carmelo Tomi got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Rojas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Tomi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Eustacio Emesto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Tajo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zeledon Sanson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Tajo. Jeremias Tajo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute, Taquimilán's Leandro Argi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremias Tajo. Jeremias Tajo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Leandro Argi succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Jeremias Tajo was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Leon Gervaso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leon Gervaso really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 39th minute, Taquimilán's Leon Gervaso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremias Tajo. Jeremias Tajo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. 42 minutes into the match, Zeledon Sanson notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Rojas's Jeremias Tajo. Jeremias Tajo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rojas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Delmar Teofilio scored to the left of an out of position Jeremias Tajo, making the score, 7-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Zeledon Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremias Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Gervaso in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Paolo Kiliz notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Rojas's Jeremias Tajo. Jeremias Tajo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Taquimilán's zone, Nicanor Ramone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Mano came out of the goal and Nicanor Ramone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Taquimilán got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Emesto. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nicanor Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rojas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Mano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rojas's Jeremias Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Teofilio in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rojas defense, Leandro Argi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Tajo. The Rojas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Tajo should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Delmar Teofilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taquimilán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rojas the free kick. After 77 played minutes Taquimilán got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Teofilio. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Ramone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Mano was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jeremias Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Teofilio in the 84th minute of play. Taquimilán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
