A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Arixo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Montxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Monserrat FC's zone, Maximino Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Montxo came out of the goal and Maximino Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Vito in the 14th minute of play forced Balsa FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Sagrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monserrat FC's Cesar Montxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Arixo in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Balsa FC were awarded a corner. Maximino Arixo went to the cornerflag to take it. Balsa FC's Dalmacio Sagrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Vito in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maximino Arixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesar Montxo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Arixo to make the kick off. The supporters of Balsa FC booed when Monserrat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balsa FC's Roque Santio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Montxo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Balsa FC's Maximino Arixo. But to his dismay, Maximino Arixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Balsa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
