Tasma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Manny made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Carmelo Calvino sent off a good shot on target. When Gualterio Argina fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasma FC's protests and gave Gualterio Argina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Gualterio Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Reynaldo Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmelo Calvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Manny having to make a save. Reynaldo Vito struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lino Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monserrat FC. Carmelo Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Manny having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Tasma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Nevada to maneuver through the defense. If Carmelo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Monserrat FC's Reynaldo Vito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lino Manny. Lino Manny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Ramiro Cordera fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monserrat FC's protests and gave Ramiro Cordera a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Monserrat FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Cordera. Reynaldo Vito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Manny having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Carmelo Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Manny. Tasma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lino Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Tasma FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Serafo. If Carmelo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Reynaldo Vito rounded Tasma FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Iturri was the one to do the kick off. Isaac Rosario was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Vito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Manny. Tasma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Vito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 64 played minutes Tasma FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Pasqual. After some careless play in the Tasma FC defense, Reynaldo Vito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Manny. The Tasma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Manny should have stopped the shot. After 75 minutes of play, Monserrat FC's Carmelo Calvino made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Manny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaac Rosario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Manny. Tasma FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reynaldo Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lino Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Vito scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Manny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carmelo Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Monserrat FC were the better team. Monserrat FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
