Spectators: 7900 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 85) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dalmacio Resto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th play minute Maximino Arixo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Epifanio Fe. 1-0. A collision led to Independencia getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Conrado Quinten hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Independencia defense, Maximino Arixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Fe. The Independencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Fe should have stopped the shot. Omar Clemencin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Epifanio Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Maximino Arixo in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Epifanio Fe had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Dalmacio Sagrario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Mede went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rodrigo Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Atarrabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Independencia's Epifanio Fe got control of the ball when Tomás Mosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Epifanio Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Arixo in the 34th minute of play. The Balsa FC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Balsa FC's Omar Clemencin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Epifanio Fe made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Maximino Arixo sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Maximino Arixo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Balsa FC's Omar Clemencin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Fe. That made the score 5-1 after 45 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Arixo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Arixo came free, but Epifanio Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Balsa FC were awarded a corner. Omar Clemencin went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Tomás Mosen advanced and headed the ball into goal, 6-1 in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Omar Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Balsa FC's Maximino Arixo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independencia's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 minutes, Joaquin Ermengol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independencia and the Balsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Epifanio Fe came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Balsa FC's Omar Clemencin. But to his dismay, Omar Clemencin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 73rd match minute, Balsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Balsa FC booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Maximino Arixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Fe was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. When Conrado Quinten fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independencia's protests and gave Conrado Quinten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Independencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Quinten to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Balsa FC's Maximino Arixo got a free kick in the 87th minute. There was no doubt that Balsa FC were the better team. Balsa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
