The crowd rose to their feet as Canallas F.C's Mauricio Kelemen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Claus. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Alfonso Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Laurendi in the 19th minute of play. Tiburcio Laurendi scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Silviano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blas Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Kelemen in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Canallas F.C's Mauricio Kelemen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Blas Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Emiliano Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Mauricio Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canallas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mauricio Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Canallas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Kelemen couldn't finish the play. If Alfonso Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Urdaspal in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Silviano saved Canallas F.C from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Kelemen was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Silviano was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Tiburcio Laurendi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiburcio Laurendi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. 58 minutes into the match, Arano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Kelemen came free, but Blas Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Kelemen in the 59th minute of play forced Arano FC's goalkeeper Blas Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Arano FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Jurgi. Alfonso Gau struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Blas Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canallas F.C. The supporters of Canallas F.C booed when Arano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arano FC's zone, Alfonso Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Claus came out of the goal and Alfonso Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Silviano was a little too slow when Tiburcio Laurendi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-3. After a rather tough play, Arano FC's Freddy Isusko got a free kick in the 81st minute.
