Modesto Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Mauro Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rojas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Irrintzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Casado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Jeremias Tajo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Nicanor Ramone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. After some careless play in the Saldungaray AFC defense, Nicanor Ramone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Inocente. The Saldungaray AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Inocente should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Reyes in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Nicanor Ramone notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Saldungaray AFC's Modesto Inocente. Modesto Inocente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Astor Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Astor Casado sped through Rojas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Tajo. Evelio Indar's late challenge caught a Saldungaray AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Indar helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Indar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rojas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
