Arano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Terciero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Natalio Terciero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Blas Claus made a huge save. Natalio Terciero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Blas Claus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Natalio Terciero put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Blas Claus. 13 minutes into the game, Jose Bastian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Aztlan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arano FC the free kick. Jose Bastian hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Blas Claus was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Agustin Cordarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustin Cordarin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Carmelo Hitzeder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Blas Claus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvestre Urdaspal took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Federigo. Severino Federigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 32 minutes into the game, Natalio Terciero lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Blas Claus. Jose Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Blas Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Aztlan booed when Arano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Jose Bastian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blas Claus. Jose Bastian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Laurendi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Natalio Terciero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arano FC's Blas Claus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Jose Bastian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adolfo Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Bastian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Claus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Natalio Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Carmelo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Claus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arano FC's Hector Satordi got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jose Bastian struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Blas Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aztlan. Blas Claus came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Aztlan's Natalio Terciero. But to his dismay, Natalio Terciero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Blas Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Terciero in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Arano FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Calvet. Agustin Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Blas Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Aztlan had played much better football throughout.
