Valentin Berart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Janusz Gorgoń when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valentin Berart had several of the Hernandarias FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Janusz Gorgoń as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 15th minute of the match Club Tijuas got a corner. Hernandarias FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorino Gregory ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Victorino Gregory almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hernandarias FC's Janusz Gorgoń did a great save. After a rather tough play, Hernandarias FC's Felix Chano got a free kick in the 16th minute. Club Tijuas's Flavio Berbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Betadur in the 20th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Club Tijuas's Valentin Berart made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Gorgoń was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Janusz Gorgoń tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Gai charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Gai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Club Tijuas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Gai to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Berbiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Betadur, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Damaso Gai was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Cristo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Gorgoń having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Hernandarias FC's goalkeeper Janusz Gorgoń had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Berart. Jeremias Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Ramirez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Selatse got free with Janusz Gorgoń in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janusz Gorgoń made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Ramirez in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Betadur to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hernandarias FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Guillermo Oskarbi hit a great ball. Cristo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Gorgoń having to interfere. Janusz Gorgoń showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ovidio Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Ramirez took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Janusz Gorgoń. Janusz Gorgoń dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ovidio Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Gorgoń having to interfere. Club Tijuas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
