Benicio Etxekopar, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mario Nesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Tabb made a huge save. Gonzalo Tabb was a little too slow when Mario Nesor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. Pablo Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jacobo Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Manni was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Txartiko during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, one of Rayos GDL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rayos GDL. After 54 minutes Rayos GDL's goalkeeper Jacobo Benet managed, with a little bit of luck, save Camilo Hechter's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 54th minute, Manzano AFC's Camilo Hechter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After 58 minutes of play, Rayos GDL's Lucas Iratze made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Tabb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Benet made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Guido Dominic sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Rayos GDL's goalkeeper Jacobo Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Dominic. Jacobo Benet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guido Dominic showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 71 minute of play. Mario Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jacobo Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rayos GDL's Atilano Cordareo got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 98 played minutes Manzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Florinio. Manzano AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
