Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgard Llope made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Emma's Arnoldo Henry got control of the ball when Benicio Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 minutes, Candido Gaztea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emma and the FC Colibries players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Candido Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Ciro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emma's goalkeeper Arnoldo Henry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arnoldo Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Llope struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arnoldo Henry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Colibries. In the 43rd minute, Fabio Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Henry was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Llope showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Llope in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Henry saved Emma from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Colibries's Remigio Estebe got control of the ball when Prospero Abecia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Benicio Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emma's Candido Gaztea got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Candido Gaztea off the ground. The supporters of FC Colibries booed when Emma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Emma's zone, Benicio Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Henry came out of the goal and Benicio Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Henry having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Benicio Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Colibries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Henry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. FC Colibries's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
