Arnoldo Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cacomixtles de Queretaro booed when Emma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hüsnü Hürsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Henry having to interfere. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Roland Nieruchliwy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Ugaitz should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Emma's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Sefastsson came free, but Arnoldo Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Emma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cacomixtles de Queretaro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
