Florentino Goi struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Rodrigo Llorienzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avellaneda FC. In the 8th minute, Armando Bonifaco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Llorienzo. The goal made the score 1-0. If Armando Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonel Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Avellaneda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Montrelle to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Silvestre Ralondo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Leonel Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Rodrigo Llorienzo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Fagondo to make the kick off. Tomás Fagondo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. CF America's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 54 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's Leonel Benvide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dante Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF America's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Sesuldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Benvide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Milio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Milio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes CF America got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Milio. After 62 minutes, Florentino Goi made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. CF America's Rodrigo Llorienzo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Bonifaco in the 67th minute of play forced CF America's goalkeeper Rodrigo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, CF America's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Bonifaco came free, but Rodrigo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rene Oriche fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avellaneda FC's protests and gave Rene Oriche a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to CF America getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dante Sesuldo hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Jonathan Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in CF America fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Avellaneda FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jairo Ruy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CF America's Rodrigo Llorienzo. 3-0. Tomás Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Peli having to interfere. Avellaneda FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
