Nestor Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Estebe having to interfere. Aurelio Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Llope in the 13th minute of play. Edgard Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agote FC's Aurelio Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Llope in the 26th minute of play. Aurelio Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Aquiles Urbasa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Urbasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Agote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, FC Colibries's Lucio Ponce got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aurelio Admon. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Nestor Rolado made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Colibries getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jesus Modestio hit a great ball. Leo Onofre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remigio Estebe. FC Colibries's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 55th minute, Agote FC's Aquiles Urbasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ariel Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Tonete scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Admon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Remigio Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Modestio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With 91 minutes on the clock, Ernesto Iaki commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 96 minutes into the match, FC Colibries's goalkeeper Remigio Estebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Gelacio. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Colibries fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agote FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
