Florentino Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Henry having to interfere. Arnoldo Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Bonifaco in the 23rd minute of play. Jairo Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnoldo Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Goi might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Henry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Goi ran back to his position shaking his head. The Emma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avellaneda FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Goi was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Peli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda FC's Teodosio Manuelo got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Armando Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnoldo Henry saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 87 minutes into the game, Rene Oriche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Arnoldo Henry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnoldo Henry was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Remigio Iratze capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remigio Iratze really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Avellaneda FC played a much better game than Emma and deserved their victory. The Emma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
