Geronimo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Evarado in the 46th minute of play. Florentino Efren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Remigio Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Llope made a kick off. Edgard Llope took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Donzel. Geronimo Donzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to FC Colibries getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anier Rodas hit a great ball. If Benicio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute Antonio Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Fabian Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Nunez Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Estebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Dimo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes of play, FC Colibries's Jesus Modestio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Donzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Colibries walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
