Score! 0-1. A collision led to Avellaneda FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jairo Ruy hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Joachim came free, but Ciriaco Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Emma's zone, Florentino Goi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Henry came out of the goal and Florentino Goi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avellaneda FC's Florentino Goi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Candido Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Florentino Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentino Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arnoldo Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Santos Urtun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Henry. The goal made the score 1-1. When Iker Soter fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avellaneda FC's protests and gave Iker Soter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, one of Avellaneda FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avellaneda FC. In the 100th minute Candido Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Emma echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Avellaneda FC had held the ball for most of the match.
