Adan Chuan made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Isidoro Dantel sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute of the match Abelardo Shepherd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Tohias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Leonides Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Tohias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isidoro Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Chuan having to interfere. Leonides Matthew hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Soles Mexicali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Frans to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Anacleto Rosalio hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Abelardo Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Tohias skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Matthew in the 41st minute of play. Julian Phelipe charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Phelipe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julian Phelipe hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Antonio Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Fiz in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Leonides Matthew made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Scaloneta's Adan Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Dantel in the 59th minute of play. Anacleto Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Roque Naelio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adan Chuan. La Scaloneta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vicente Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Chuan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Vicente Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soles Mexicali's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Donio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Dantel in the 70th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Adan Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72nd play minutes Leonides Matthew shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Antonio Tohias and just under the crossbar into goal. Antonio Tohias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Scaloneta's Leonides Matthew shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Soles Mexicali getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eulalio Henric hit a great ball. If Leonides Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Leonides Matthew in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
